Kistler-Tiffany Foundation Partners with BGCA

Mr. Jeff Stein, a Committee Member, from the Kistler-Tiffany Foundation recently presented the Boys & Girls Club of Allentown with a generous grant of $2,940. Their partnership will enable us to purchase two curriculum sets of the AfterSchool KidzMath, complete K-6 program, for use at both our Sixth and Turner Street Clubhouses.

BGCA’s commitment is to provide our members with quality after school educational opportunities to enhance their academic achievement. Our goal in AfterSchool KidzMath classes is to enable our youth to develop mathematical skills, gain confidence in their mathematical abilities, increase their enjoyment of mathematics, and improve their ability to work with others. This curriculum is designed specifically for the after school environment to help children become better and more motivated in the area of math. The curriculum is reusable and we plan to offer AfterSchool KidzMath for several years.
