The Boys and Girls Club of Allentown (BGCA) is pleased to partner with the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association (GLVADA). A check of $3,000 was presented by Mr. Andy Scott, a member of GLVADA Donations Committee and the Board of Directors of the National Auto Dealers Association, at their Fall General Membership Meeting. BGCA’s Annual Fund & Special Events Manager Miguel Rivera accepted the grant on our behalf. This generous donation will support BGCA’s Literacy 4 R Youth classes at our Turner Street Clubhouse. The program has three main components: Homework Help, Computer Lab support, and Reading Group Activities that work hand in hand, together providing academic support to our at-risk youth, on a daily basis.

The GLVADA is the trade association representing 55 franchised new auto dealerships covering 85 franchises in the Greater Lehigh Valley area. In addition to promoting their members and assisting these businesses being as successful as possible, they strive to support their community, local businesses, and the families who work for them.

In addition to this year, we are most grateful for GLVADA’s generosity in past years and collaboration in other BGCA educational programs. Our Board and staff greatly appreciate this partnership. Many thanks to GLVADA!
