Resource Development Director
The Resource Development Director works with the Chief Professional Officer and the Board of Directors to plan and successfully execute updated resource development plan and its strategies and monitor progress against goals. Supports Chief Professional Officer in positioning the Board of Directors to cultivate and solicit major gifts from corporations, individuals, planned giving prospects, and other donors as assigned. Major responsibilities include managing all aspects of: an individual giving campaign, two special events (Annual Golf Tournament and Annual Dinner) and developing a planned giving program.
This is a full-time position. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred or equivalent related experience. Candidates must have proven documented experience working in non-profit agency fundraising field or resource development department. Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency of fundraising techniques is necessary. Ability to organize and coordinate multiple fundraising projects at the same time is essential. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Knowledge of computer programs including: Donor Perfect data base, excel, word and power point is preferred. Our Club is always looking for Interns and work study students. For special events, as tutors, or as members… interns are well received by our youth and staff.
